What Is The Treatment For Red Bumps, Fever, And Cough In Child?

My 3yo has red bumps with blister. He has been running a fever and coughing nonstop! The red bumps are the size of a bite! He had MRSA last November and the bumps look about the same as then just not infected looking. Thank you for your time! Corda Bowen

Hi Corda,

The bumps with blister could be related to MRSA which is triggered by viral infection he had (fever, coughing).

I'd suggest to consult with a pediatrician and to start antibiotics orally and locally.
Please keep good hygienic measures, wash his hands frequently especially before eating and after playing/going to bathroom.

All the best!
