What Is The Treatment For Lichen Planus?

My daughter was diagnosed Biopsy with Lichen Planus 5 1/2 years ago. She was given cyclosporen a steriod and protopic for her finger and toes, and was doing light treatment for a while a few years ago until she went away to school. I wanted a second opinion and recently took her to a dermatologist in NJ who said the way it looks on her fingers and toes is not the typical look of lichen planus. Her fingernails are rigid and from the nail to the knuckles on her hands are hard scaly and pink. Her toenails are rigid and skin around the toes and heels are very dark in color. I'm not quite sure this is Licen planus any more and would really like to see a specialist in the Union County area in NJ who specialize in this type of skin disorder. Can you kindly advise.
