What Is The Treatment For Fever And Vomiting?

Hi for the last 48hrs my 2 year old son has had a fever of 39-41•C, he was vomiting from about midnight last night right through to about 7am this morning, he has had two nose bleeds today and through the whole fever so far has been nodding in and out of sleep and just generally lathargic and sleepy; he hasn't eaten since the fever started and won't take much fluids. I have been giving him ibroprofen when needed but unfortunately there hasn't been much of a drop in temp maybe 1 degree less

Hai.. It could be viral infection. 1st 2 days are usually like this. Is there any history of febrile fits or seizures. Please use only paracetamol... No need for ibuprofen. If the kid's well when there's no fever for few hours... You need not worry. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
