What Is The Treatment For Difficulty In Urination And Defecation?
I saw my GP 1 week ago as for 3 days I was unable to urinate or defaecate although constantly urged to do so in waves, especially at night. He eliminated prostatitis etc and prescribed Laxodo; and suppositories, After 3 days I passed motions and yesterday I could urinate without pain but I still get waves of pain now every 5 to 15 minutes. I have been taking Co-codamol which helped me to get 1 hours sleep earlier but I can t take more yet. what should I do now?

You should first do MRI scan of lumbar spine since some nerve disorders in this area may cause symptoms that you decrive. Also, it may be caused by urinary infections or prostate hyperplasia so ultrasound should be done to rule this out.
