What Is The Treatment For Congestive Heart Failure?
My mother has congestive heart failure caused by a flapping valve on the left ventricle. They stabilized her after and inserted a pacemaker. She appears to be stable for about three months. Her heart rate is usually about 45BPM and her blood pressure is good lately. She is 84, lean, with a clear mind, active and still drives. Her CHF symptoms have disappeared. I have added COQ10 and a heart healthy diet to her daily routine. Is it possible that she can live into her 90's if she is stable?
congestive heart failure due to flapping valve at the age of 84 usually do not carry a good prognosis its a good note of her symptoms decreased but the underlying disease condition will not be completly cured with the medicines Be on a positive side and hope she will live a comfortable life
