Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Given your clinical situation, the possible options are a hysterectomy, medical or surgical and uterine artery embolization. A massive-sized uterus may not be easily pulled down through the vagina in a vaginal hysterectomy. Therefore, majority of surgeons prefer the abdominal route to remove a very bulky uterus. If your surgeon is very confident of the descent of the uterus, he /she may opt for the vaginal route as postoperative recovery is quicker. Please discuss with your doctor or go for a second opinion. Hope this helps.
