What Is The Treatment For Bloating And Gas Formation?

Hi doctor, I had severe pain in my tooth for which I was advised Novoclox-LB and Flozen plus . I have taken them for two days. But since evening I am having severe bloatness, gas formation and hiccups. What is the reason and what should I do for immediate relief?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of taking Novaclox LB and Flozen plus for tooth pain, developed bloating, gas and hiccoughs.
The cause looks most probably as gastrointestinal disturbance either due to Novaclox due to disturbed intestinal bacterial flora or due to Flozen.
Bloating is caused by excessive gas production by overgrowth of gas producing bacteria and the hiccoughs can by due to bloating irritating the diaphragm.
I would advise you the following:
Stop these medicines and consult your Doctor to prescribe you another set of medications which you might have taken in past and suited you well.
Also get probiotics.
Take banana and yourt.
