My left side ear was air locked six months ago. but still now the lock was not clear. I am feared about this problem. but the near by doctors said that a valve was locked inside ear, no need to worry. please refer a solution. My email id YYYY@YYYY
Since your blockade is for last 6 months so only sore throat may not be the real cause and this demonds a thorough examination of nasopharynx to rule out above causes and if any of above is identifyed than that should be treated. If nasopharynx is found clear than stenosis of eustachian tube will be most probable diagnosis and that may be confirmed by Impedance audiometry.
Treatment depends on the diagnosis and that ranges from coservative to surgery (grommet insertion).
Regards.

What Is The Treatment For A Blocked Ear?
Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding blockade of left ear for last 6 months. Blockade of ear is indicative of eustachian tube dysfunction (tubal blocade). This tubal blokade may be because of- 1- Sore throat. 2- Sinusitis. 3- Enlarged adenoids. 4- Anterochonal polyp. 5- Stenosis or fibrosis of eustachian tube. Regards.
