What Is The Treatment For PCOS And Hypothyroidism?

Hi doctor.. I am suffering from pcos and hypothyroidism. .. I am taking 50mcg thyronorm for thyroid.. my gynaecologist has given me hcg injections and had done follicular study but my follicle size doesnt grow after 9 to 10 mm size. She again gave me a high hcg but it didnt worked again. I m ttc from past one year but failed. Taken these hcg injections in jan 2013. After that I m not taking any medicine except thyronorm. My periods are so so irregular.. I menstruate after 2 months sometimes 2 and half and the bleeding goes on for several days 15 to 20 days.. bleeding is scanty. Single pad can work for day and night. Please help me please... m depressed. I m 25 years old and 62kgs weigh.

I am so sorry to hear about your problems, and I hope you are succesful in getting pregnant as you desire. however, it sounds like you are getting appropriate treatment from your doctor. you may want to discuss with your doctor the possibility of using metformin, and/or clomid, to get you to ovulate. however, the main solution to the problem of course is to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle. even a small amount of weight loss can help a lot. I know you are going through a difficult time, and I really hope you can find some relief soon. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions
