What Is The Treatment For GOUT While Also Suffering From Morton S Neuroma?

HI I am a heathy 52-year old woman who was told I have gout. uric acid levels normal, do not eat red meat or organs, an occasional wine drinker, occasional shellfish. I have a really healthy diet, love to work out, and am not overweight. My podiatrist tells me gout can be caused by trauma to the foot. I have been seeing him for a Morton s neuroma which has now turned into this. Any thoughts? Thank you.

A gout can happen even with healthy food. This can happen when your body is producing excess uric acid or not able to get rid of uric acid through urine. Trauma or Morton neuroma can not cause gout. You can get second opinion for your discomfort.
