What Is The Soreness And Red Bumps Under My Tongue?
hi i am a 24 year old male and over the last couple of days my mouth has started to feel sore mainly under my tongue, i have just looked in the mirror and there is several little red spot like tag's under it, and on the side of my mouth i have what looks like a smale ulcer! i have a rely good diet and brush and mouth and wash my teeth twice daily? do you have an idea what it could be or what could be causing it? and what action should i take to help it? Thanks
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Apthous Stomatitis leading to formation of apthous ulcers and the cause of it can be: 1.Deficiency of iron and Vitamin B12. 2.Acid reflux. 3.Stress 4.Allergic reaction to any food or medicine. 5.Excess intake of our foods, etc..
I would suggest you to start taking a multivitamin tablet daily for 1 month. In case if there is pain you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash as well as you can take Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain..
Avoid hot and spicy food.. Do warm saline gargles.. Drink plenty of water and maintain a good oral hygiene.. In case of no improvement in a week consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
