What Is The Sore Rash On My Penis?

I have recently noticed I have a small rash on the top side of my penis. I am pretty worried about it as it is sore to touch. I haven t had it long and I am not sure of what to do. I feel insecure about doing to a doctor this is why I have searched on the web for answers.

Hi,

If you had unprotected sex - need to rule out sexually transmitted infection.

It can be due to herpes or syphilis - doing investigation can help diagnose. Share pictures for confirmation.

If not, it can be due to bacterial infection. Local application of antibiotics can help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
