What Is The Severe Knife Like Pain Behind The Knee In Spite Of Surgery?

what type of pain can result from an entrapped nerve just below knee lateral. Have been to 5 orthopedic surgeons. I have always described as knifelike and a nerve difficulty pulling up leg to bend because of level 10 knife. partial rom Had l45 laminectomy to correct it. no luck. Have had total knee replacement for arthritis. Pain remains and is inhibiting my full rom after the replacement.
