Hi,

Telma is less likely to cause dry cough. Hopace (ramipril) is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACEs) inhibitor commonly prescribed for the treatment of hypertension. Based on the history you seem to have developed dry cough and wheezing apparently caused by the blood pressure lowering medication Hopace. Hence, his doctor advised him to take Telma which is equally effective to control his high blood pressure and less likely to cause dry cough and wheezing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
