Suggest Remedy For Recurring Cough

My mother aged 75 has hyper tension and she taes Telma H and Telma 40 and developed dry cough and doctor asked her ddiscontinue Telma 40 in nite and gave her diuertics and she was ok for a while but last week she caugght a viral fever and she started to cough and she suffers

Your mother's cough is either due to allergy or infection . This has to be differentiated as treatment for both is entirely different.

I advise you to get Throat swab Culture sensitivity test which will help in telling whether there is any infection or not . If the test says there is no infection by default it's allergy .

Treatment will be direct as per the test report . So kindly get it done .

Till then let her do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits
