What Is The Right Dosage Of Mifepristone Taken For Abortion?

Hi doc I got my period last month 16 July I have done the test and it was +p so I took mifrepristone on Wednesday and on Friday morning 2tab after 1hour I started bleeding normal only and on evening I took 2tab but only little bleeding and from next day no bleeding should I take medicine again pliz help me.

Understand your concern.
MTP should be take under the proper guidance and supervision of the gynecologist. Pelvic examination and USG is needed to confirm the intrauterine pregnancy and gestational age of pregnancy. It should be taken up to 63 days of gestational age. Misoprostol dose should be modified by the gynecologist depend on the bleeding. In your case bleeding is already started means abortion process is started. Bedding depends on the age and dose of the pregnancy. Ideally 600 mg mifepristone orally should be followed by 400 mcg misoprostol vaginally after 48 hour vaginally, and again 400 mcg after 4 hour vaginally in supervision of gynecologist. Extra dose may be needed in case of no bleeding. Do not try extra dose at home as you had started bleeding. But if bleeding is prolonged more than 7 days you shold consult the gynecologist. Go for USG after 14 days to confirm the abortion status.
