General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Respected veterinarian doctor, as per my surgical experience, after a period of 2 and half years post head injury with multiple fractures,
the current report of gliosis in basifrontal region indicates underlying scarring post-traumatic hematoma or hemorrhage.

It is the scar tissue which compress or pull upon the millions of neuron connections responsible for speech, pain and other central nervous system parameters.

Though there are stereotactic surgeries available for this, I would consider this as irreversible damage to much extent without much hope via medical therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
