What Is The Remedy For The Swollen Right Labia Causing Pain?

For the past 2 days my right labia has been swollen, and incredibly painful and uncomfortable to walk and sit. I am only comfortable laying down with my legs open. I am 21 and sexually active but haven't had sex recently. What should I do? What is it?

Hi

Swollen labia could be due to vaginitis, bacterial or fungal infections, cyst or pus /blood filled abscess.Any history of fever, burning while urination should be ruled out.

Antibiotic course of 5 to 7 days may be required to reduce the infection.Antibiotic ointment can also be topically applied.Large cyst or abscess may require incision and drainage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
