What Is The Reason To Get Periods Twice In A Month After Taking Duphaston?

i continue eat duphaston medicine for 1 month include in period time. now only i stop when doctor inform me that medicinencan eat for 8 days only after planing. so now i get period again 15das after my 1st period. what is the reasan i get 2 times period in 1 month ????

Hello and welcome,

Please do not worry. The periods that you experienced is called withdrawl bleed. It happens due to stopping the progesterone [ duphaston]. Nothing needs to be done for this. Just wait for your next period and then take duphaston as directed by your doctor.

Every time you stop duphaston or any other progesterone a bleeding will occur in the next 7 days after stopping it [ if there is no pregnancy] and this is normal and expected. So please do not worry at all.
