What Is The Reason For Tendonitis When Trying To Walk For Exercise?
Everytime I try walking for exercise I seem to get tendonitis in my feet. Currently I tried walking a mile everyday for the last month and now have pain in my left outer foot under the ankle bone. I am a two time cancer survivor and have been free for 12 years but wonder if chemo therapy treatments could of done damage to my tendons and nerves. This is about the third time this has happen I have seen a foot doctor and have inserts in my shoes, wear orthopedic shoes and inserts religiously.
I have studied your case with diligence. This can be due strong chemotherapy agents leading to tendon early degeneration.
I will advise to do MRI ankle for soft tissue involvement. Till time you can continue physiotherapy exercises and also use supportive splint or brace. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and TENS will help in early healing.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
