What Is The Reason For Having Elevated ESR, Cold And Cough?
Hi doctor,
My mother is 57 year old. She got cold and cough for last 4-5 days. day before when she spit the cougf we found bit of blood sample in it. then we went for check up, her ESR level is 40. apart from esr everything is ok. please guide me what is it??

hello. ESR is a non specific marker and just tells that the person is suffering form an infection. please consult a chest physician. he will examine your mother and do the needful. thanks
