What Is The Reason Behind Missing My Periods Last Month Inspite Of Having Regular Periods After A Miscarriage?

Hi! In September i had a miscarriage at 14 weeks. I am 39 years old. I have had 2 regular periods since then.On December first i thought I would try Sprintec.I took it for 2 days, and thought I would try for a baby again.I have not had my period yet for Jan. and the pregnancy tests have been negative.Oh i also had a D%C.Why do you think no period all of the sudden, when i am usually regular?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Women in the age group nearing 40 years may sometimes have periods coming quite late than the usual, its likely to be approaching the menopausal age group.

If the pregnancy has been ruled out, taking No-ethisterone may induce withdrawal bleeding.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
