What Is The Meaning Of Having Shadow In Ultrasound And Told As Bone Tissue?
I have recently been to the breast screening clinic and they have gtaken an x-ray of my right breast and found a shadow, they then took an ulgtrasound and told me it was only bone tissue but did not explain what this ment can you tell me what this is
In a X ray there can be false perception of shadows due to positioning. In your X ray there was a suspicious shadow and hence ultrasound was asked for. On doing ultrasound, the radiologist confirmed the shadow to be due to bone (which is normal) and not because of something in your breast.
