What Does This Mammogram Report Indicate?

I recently had a mammogram that showed some tissue near the nipple and an ultrasound was recommended. TAfter the ultrasound the radiologist said he thought it was just a collection of glandular tissue and to repeat the ultrasound in 6 months. Do you think I should get a second opinion or just wait the six months.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Mammogram and USG doesn’t shows any suspicious lesion apart from glandular tissues Nothing much to worry now and just do a follow up scan after six months. You can consult a surgeon in case you feel a palpable lump in the breast.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
