Good day What is the possibility that you can overdose on Pur-Bloka? How many tablets of 40mg will cause your heart to stop? Currently my husband takes abount 4 tablets a day. I read somewhere that you can overdose on 30 tablets? thanking you in advance for your response

hello user , propanolol is commonly used in therapeutic dosages upto 320 mg (around 8 tabs per day ) , dose varies with individual to individual as per clinical profile and other factors as judged by doctor - as per studies however life threatening intoxications occur after 1 gram cumulative dose - so the information that you read is correct ( sums up around 25 tablets ) . hope i answered your query , if satisfied please rate the answer - any further queries are welcome
