What Is The Large Mole With Same Pigmentation As Skin?

My 12 year old daughter continuously picked at what started out as a pimple I have finally gotten her to leave it alone and now there is a what appears to be a large mole the same pigment as her skin. Is it likely a mole and should I take her in to have it looked at?

Thank you for your question!
The mole that you prescribe seems to be an Unna nevus, verrucous nevus or a skin fibroma. None of these lesions is a sign of a malignant nevus or something to worry about. Usually they tend to grow bigger. I would advice you keep looking at it, if it will possible change any color, symmetry, will itch or bleed then you can refer to your doctor. For the moment it is nothing to worry about.
I hope this helps.
Feel free to ask me if anything is unclear.
