What Is The Knot In My Throat After Partial Thyroid Removal?

I have what feels like a knot in my throat after partial thyroid removal due to a growth - the growth was not cancer and I did not have this before surgery - however, I do have acid reflux. The doctor has doubled my acid reflux medication but it has been seven days with no change. I am concerned about what this knot is.

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have partial thyroid removal and it is non cancerous so nothing to worry. For acid reflux you can take drugs like rabeprazole plus domperidone or pentoprazole plus domperidone. If you feel knot persistently then go foe ultrasound neck once. It will give you exact idea.
