What Is The Indication Of Rt Uterine Artery Diastolic Notch During Pregnancy?
hello doctor..I am 20weeks into my first pregnancy...no previous h/o abortions... I had done a level 2 fetal growth scan... rt uterine artery diastolic notch was detected...RI 0.78...PI 1.97... what is its significance and how I manage it.... YYYY@YYYY

in a person n pregnancy with no other risk factors and complications only a diastolic notch is not significant
but
in a certain amount of pregnancies this indicates that the amount and rate of blood flowing into your baby n placenta is experiencing a resistance/back pressure
it can lead to low wight, unhealthy babies , low amount of fluids around baby
at this point of time in your pregnancy the only possible option is to wait till next scan at 28weeks, n 32weeks to look for other abnormalities
meanwhile understand that it is only a possible problem n
the highest chance is for a normal outcome
drink plenty of fluids, add arginate powder milk to daily diet, eat dates badam n proper food, have only good thoughts in mind
