Hi,

Storvas and Rozat are 'statin' drugs commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol levels in the blood to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. As per the clinical studies, Rozat is more effective than Storvas in reducing the high cholesterol level and Rozat is less likely to cause liver dysfunction as compared to Storvas. Hence, Rozat is preferred over Storvas. This medication should be taken for life long or as prescribed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
