Hi welcome to hcm
Tachycardia is increase in contractility and rate of whole heart while Atrial fibrillation is increase in atrial activity to >200 -250 per minute.symptoms of both look the same like having palpitations, shortness of breath, angina on exertionand dizziness in some patients.ECCG/EKG is helpful in differentiating both the condition.Drugs like Metoprolol will be helpful in ta chycardia.Drugs like xylocard will be helpful in treating Atrial fibrillation.Defribillation is helpful in refractory cases.consult your cardiologist for expert management.
Thankyou
