What Is The Cure For Severe Headaches, Pain In Arms And Light Headedness?

I woke up at three in the morning due to a severe headache. It felt like my head was being pushed in. I couldn t fall back asleep and at around 6:30 the pain in my head changed and it felt like my head was being split apart. At this point I took an Advil which relieved my headache and I slept until one o clock. For the rest of the day I have been feeling lightheaded. Can you please help? Other things I have been feeling are really cold, teeth chattering, and pain in my arms. Thanks.

Hi.

Welcome to HCM. I understand your concerns.

I think that you have a migraine. A migraine is a recurrent type of headache that occurs due to a trigger factor.

Here are a few examples of trigger factors:
Exercise
Cold
Heat
Weather changes
Loud music

Along with this, I think that you are having symptoms of migraine. Symptoms are headaches and along with this, you may have aura symptoms. Some examples of aura are the pain in the arms and the light-headedness.

Here are a few things you can try to help you:
Drink lots of water
Get lots of sleep and 8 hours at a time
Inhale steam to clear the nasal passages
Eat meals at regular times

Try this for the next week and if the headaches do not stop, please see a doctor. All the best.
