General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The following measures would help in reducing the inflammation and discomfort:
1. Wear loose cotton underwear to reduce friction
2. Try a different brand to determine if it causes fewer reactions
3. Continue using candid b cream in the affected areas
4. Use a sitz bath to relieve irritated areas. Fill a bath with warm (not hot) water and sit in it for 5 to 10 minutes, then pat the area dry
5. Change pads frequently to prevent them from becoming too moist and increasing your risk of irritation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
