What Is The Cause Of Pain Near Ulna Bone And Numbness? History Of Broken Forearm

Hi, I broke my left forearm about 9 years ago and had to have two metal plates put in. Everything has been fine up until a few days ago when I started experiencing some pain around the ulna bone. It feels slightly numb and almost like there's a bruise there. Could I have done something to cause this?

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Pain near ulna bone and numbness could occur due to irritation of nerve fibres.I suggest you to go for an xray to see the status of plate, any loosening of plate. If it persist plate removal might required. Consult with your doctor.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
