What Is The Cause Of Burning And Itchy Triangular Fossa On My Ear?

Hi,
I have a burning and itchy triangular fossa on my left ear. It isn't swollen and has no irregular color. It burned intensely about a month ago in an area about the diameter of my pinky finger tip. Days later it started itching and it has continued since. It comes and goes. What is it? I take licinipril 10mg for blood pressure.

Thanks

HELLO AND WELCOME TO HCM.
LICINOPRIL ALSO HAS ITCHING AS ONE OF ITS SIDE EFFECT. BUT IN THAT CASE IT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO A SINGLE AREA AS IN UR CASE. IT SEEMS MORE TO BE DUE TO SEBORROEA WHICH IS MORE COMMON IN THIS AREA. U PROBABLY R SUFFERING FROM DANDRUFF IN UR SCALP WHICH IS CAUSING TJIS PROBLEM. TRY USING A MEDICATED ANTIDANDRUFF SHAMPOO ALONG WITH SOME TOPICAL ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT. ITWILL SUFFICE WITH THIS.
