What Is The Cause Of Bumps After The Permethrin Treatment For Scabies?

Hello, I ve done the permethrin treatment for scabies and still have symptoms of itching and bumps. It s been a few weeks since I did the second treatment and am still occasionally getting new bumps and small rashes. But they go away after I use Triamcinolone. Could this be post scabies syndrome?

Thank you for asking!
Some times scabies are not totally removed by simple permethrin and steroids like triamcinolone and other medicines like doxepin are used. More important is hygiene rehab and trimming of nails to prevent any damage to the skin while scratching. rest assure there is nothing like post scabies syndrome. Stop self diagnosing and keep the hygiene and seek an infectious disease specialist for further management.
Take care
