What Is The Cause For Shortness Of Breath And What Are The Findings From The Blood Test?
MY HIUSBAND WAS SHORT OF BREATH HAD A HEART RATE OF 120 SO DR SENT HIM TO ER. ON HIS BLOOD TEST RESULTS ONE LABELED MONO WAS 14.6 CONSIDERED HIGH ANOTHER ONE WAS EOSIN 8.0 SAID THAT WAS HIGH AND HE KEEPS COMING BACK WITH LOWER RED BLOOD COUNT AND HEMOGLOBIN COUNTS. WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?
Common causes of SOB are chronic bronchitis, allergy, bronchial asthma, anemia, cardiac diseases. Elevated Eosniphils shows Eosinophilia. High monocyte indicates severe infection. Based on the lab studies and symptoms I think the conditions is due to anemia or if you have some sort of allergy you can see elevation of Monocytes and Eosinophils.
Wish you speedy recovery.
Thank you
