Suggest Treatment For Pertussis, Vitamin D Deficiency, High ESR And Joint Pain
I was recently diagnosed with Bordatella Pertussis Whooping Cough, I am a female age 59. Blood labs show Vit D deficiency (22L) and high/higher level of ESR (31H). Monocytes were listed at (11H). I have chronic bone/joint pain and fatigue. Any suggestions?

Hello,
Pertusiss in elderly treated with macrolide antibiotics for 1-2 weeks. Vaccination in elderly may prevent from reinfection. For vitamin deficiency you may use cap bit D3 60k units orally once in a week for five weeks. High ESR may be due to arthritis or infection in joint. Use pain killer or NSAIDS for relief. If no improvement get it done X-ray of joint and get it treated accordingly.
