Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain while swallowing could be due to upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to gastroesopahgeal reflux , tonsillitis , allergic reaction or injury in throat due to hard food particle . I would suggest you to take tablet Sinarest at for three days.

For relief of throat pain take ibuprofen. Do warm saline gargles. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. Your symptoms will start resolving, if symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux or allergy specialist for asthma kind of condition .

Start proper antibiotic course after thorough examination. Go for fibroptic scan if your symptoms are not resolving at all to find out exact cause and then start treatment. Avoid cold carbonated beverages.
