What Is The Cause For Color Change In The Eye And A Numb Lump After An Injury?

Hi I fell two weeks ago hitting my head above my right eye and it was a huge lump and still a lump and my eye turned a horrible purple bad bad bruise, but the lump is numb.. Does that mean anything? I still have a bad black eye after two weeks as well

Hello
It seems from the history that you had a injury above the right eye to the head following it you are having lump and the eye has become purple.
This condition is called as black eye. This is because of collection of blood under the layers of the eye lid. This is because of the fact that the layers of the eye lid are in continuous with the layers of the scalp. Hence injuries to the head above the eye lead to black eye.

The treatment is by cold compression and treatment for the injury as required.
