Hi,

Recurrent pelvic and rectal prolapse can be a difficult condition to treat, and it is important that you receive the appropriate care and treatment to manage your symptoms. There are several treatment options available for pelvic and rectal prolapse, including pelvic floor exercises, pessaries, and surgery. The type of treatment that is recommended will depend on the severity of your condition and other factors, such as your age and overall health.

In cases where surgery is necessary, there are several types of procedures that can be performed, including sacrocolpopexy and transvaginal mesh repair. However, mesh surgery can have complications, as you have already experienced, and it is important to weigh the risks and benefits with your healthcare provider.

I recommend that you speak with a healthcare provider who is knowledgeable and experienced in treating pelvic and rectal prolapse. They can discuss your treatment options with you and help you decide on the best course of action to manage your symptoms. It is important that you continue to advocate for yourself and seek the care and treatment that you need to improve your quality of life.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
