my friend has some problem like rectal prolaps but after some blood tests and MRI defogegram she had only less red blood cells due to iron deficiency. After treatment she still has the same problem. What should she do. Or which doctor should be refered?

Hello,

Your friend should be consulted proctologist to evaluate the status of rectal prolapse. We should rule out other pathologies causing loss of red blood (like ulcers). Colonoscopy and other x-ray studies should be carried out for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini
