What Is The Best Test To Check Tuberculosis?
I did an xray and the result was PTB LEFT APEX..what does it mean and how did I get it?when I asked for second opinion the result was clear..both lungs are cleared..what is the best test to be done to know if I have tuberculosis or not.. YYYY@YYYY

hello. PTB means lung tuberculosis and is spread by contact with a person having active tuberculosis , if your second opinion is all clear, then you dont have to worry. best way to confirm or rule out PTB is to test your sputum for tubercular bacilli.please meet your doctor , he will order the necessary tests, thanks
