What Is The Alternative For Prolomet?

sir, I am 69 now and taking 1 tab of prolomet 10 tab for hypertension daily. I had a stent in my artery 5 years before. Now I am in USA for 1 month and my tabs of prolomet some how are finished by mistake. Can you please suggest a name of alternative tablet which I can buy from pharmacy with out prescription?

Prolomet (Metoprolol) has many other brands like Metolar-XR, Starpress-XL, Met Xl(extended release formulation for once-daily dosing), Metpure-XL, etc and would be easily available.

However, it is not clear whether it would be available without prescription in USA (regulations vary in states). Usually, the restriction is only on antibiotics and psychotropic drugs.
