What Is Cause And Treatment For Albumin Of 4+ In Urine?
My grand-daughter is 5 years old. He is suffering from nephrotic disease. albumin in urine is 4+. Please inform what does it mean (i.e 4+) and what is the treatment for this. Please also inform suitable treatment centre for this problem in Ludhiana (India).

Hi.... by what you quote I feel that your kid is having nephrotic syndrome. This is a type of kidney disorder where the Kidneys tend to lose protein in urine. She requires further evaluation to rule out infections and the definitive management is steroids. I suggest you get in touch with your pediatrician or paediatric nephrologist for this.
