What Is A Nonsurgical Treatment For A Degenerative Knee Disease?

I have a knee that on occasion just breaks down on me, and unable to straighten it or put weight on it, I have braces and been through therapy and saw specialist that saids its degenerative... what can I do with out surgery to support my knee and nonnarcotic

Hi,

You can try braces and physiotherapy along with pain killers and calcium supplements. Newer drugs like Etidronates are useful in this condition. In severe cases surgical correction is the only option. Wishing you good health.
