What Dosage Of Bicarbonate Soda Should Be Taken For General Health?

I AM TAKING BICARBONATE SODA FOR GENERAL HEALTH, I TAKE 1/2 A TEASPOON IN A SMALL GLASS OF WATER AFTER BREAKFAST, AND BEFORE GOING TO BED, NOT AT A SET TIME AT NIGHT, AM I DOING THE RIGHT THING, I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND OF MINE IT IS GOOD FOR GENERAL HEALTH, SHE WAS TOLD TO TAKE IT 3 TIMES A DAY, 1/2 A TEASPOON IN A SMALL GLASS OF WATER , AS SHE HAS BREAST CANCER , WHICH HAS GOT INTO THE BONE, I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE ON HOW MUCH AND WHEN I SHOULD TO TAKE BI CARB SODA FOR GENERAL HEALTH.

Hi..Thanks for your query. I would like to congratulate you for your health awareness. Here I would also like to tell you that unless medically indicated, you need not take Any kind of "Health supplement" for good health. At various times things like cod liver oil, mega doses of vitamin C, multi vitamins & mineral supplements etc. have been marketed as beneficial but None of them have been scientifically proven to be beneficial unless required for general healthy population. For good health, all you need is minimum 6 hours good sleep, 30 minutes daily exercise, balanced diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, dietary fibres, keeping away from smoking & drugs of abuse & drinking lots of water daily.
