What Does White Vaginal Discharge After Appendix Surgery Indicate?
Hi my name is julie I m a bit worried about myself I went threw two surgerys one hernia repair in October and den I got my appendix out in February but den I was bleeding for about three weeks after getting my appendix. I told my gp but he said no one bleeds after dey get Der appendix out but den that went and now I passing white discharge. Very lumpy. No pains just really worried about it could u tell me what could be da cause is Plz
Hello Julie I share your concern Whitish discharge is suggestive of fungal infection like candida or bacterial vaginosis
In my opinion it's not related with surgery for appendix
you should consult a gynaecologist for examination and a battery of tests like blood for Hemoglobin CBC Liver function test and blood sugar, urine culture and sensitivity and vaginal swab for KOH fixation test
you may require a course of antibiotics or antifungal drugs or vaginal pessaries
Maintain good hygiene Have plenty of fluids which will help by flushing the urogenital tract Have multivitamin supplements Regards
