Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 34, have had 5 children all vaginal deliveries, with the most recent having ended march 2014. My partner and I began trying to conceive almost 2 months ago and since I started having periods every two weeks out of nowhere. My cycle has always been normal. I had a normal pap less than a year ago but have had a Leep procedure in 2003 & a second in 2011. I am worried something may be wrong with me and my current spouse does not have children of his own and with my age at 34 agreed it best that we try now....
I admire your positive outlook and congratulate you for the attitude.
Now I guess you have Hormonal imbalances that interfere with ovulation can result in abnormal uterine bleeding. A lack of progesteron or estradiol can affects ovulation and cause bleeding.
Other causes: -Pregnancy. -Perimenopause. The hormonal changes that occur during the years leading -Polycystic ovary syndrome. -Cyst of ovary. - Fibroids. -Endoetriosis. I suggest: 1.Ultrasound of uterus and ovaries. 2.Check thyroid hormones, estradiol and progesteron. 3.Diet enriched with natural progesteron. 4.Consult your gynaecologist, because for hormonal treatment you need guidance by female specialist.
Hope this helps.
