OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The decision of the need for surgery and the type of surgery that can be performed depends on your clinical condition, the need for reproduction and any associated factors. If you have completed reproduction and are in the perimenopausal age group, you can opt for cystectomy and hysterectomy. If reproductive function is to be preserved, uterus has to be retained. Medical management should then be tried, but, the cyst may need removal. Please see a specialist for further evaluation and management. Take care.
