What Does Tingling Sensation In The Lower Legs Indicate?
I have tingling in my lower legs and feet especially when going for a daily walk. My primary sent me to heart doc and all ok from them. I have been on PPI for about 2 yrs and rdad that can cause low vitamin B--12. I was checked for that last week and it s in the low normal so doc switched to OTC acid reducer and added B-12 . So far, no help. What else csn cause the tingling?
1- it might be nerve compression at lumbar vertebrae. For that you can consult orthopedic surgeon. 2- if you have diabetes for long time, there might be nerve damage due to chronic oxidative stress which may cause tingling sensation. If not ruled out yet please check fasting as well as post meal blood sugar levels.
